We’re Hiring: Dell, VMware, Linux & Windows Infrastructure Expert Location: Oman Work Mode: Onsite Experience: 7+ Years Purpose of the Role To install, configure, maintain, and support Dell hardware, VMware virtualization, Linux, and Windows platforms supporting a large-scale financial management system, ensuring high availability, reliability, security, and optimal infrastructure performance. Key Roles & Responsibilities • Design, install, configure, and maintain VMware-based virtualization solutions tailored to business requirements. • Manage Dell hardware and Linux platforms, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Oracle Linux, along with Windows environments. • Administer VMware technologies, including DRS, SRM, vMotion, vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server. • Configure and manage virtual machines, CPU, memory, storage, and networking, including VLANs, distributed switches, and Network I/O Control. • Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance across Linux and VMware environments. • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and configuration issues and handle escalations from the primary support team. • Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, security, backups, and disaster recovery. • Plan and execute workload migrations from non-VMware platforms to VMware environments. • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes. • Collaborate with network, database, and application teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Dell hardware, VMware, Linux (Red Hat and Oracle Linux), and Windows. • Strong expertise in VMware DRS, SRM, vMotion, vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server, and related technologies. • Experience in virtualization, infrastructure troubleshooting, workload migration, performance optimization, and disaster recovery. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Relevant certifications: VCAP, CVIX, RHCE, and Microsoft certifications.
