Getting Started
Getting started with JobXDubai+
JobXDubai is an AI-powered job-search platform for the UAE. In a few minutes you can go from a CV file to a personalised list of matched jobs. Here's how to get up and running.
Set up your account
- Click Sign up and create your account with your email, Google or LinkedIn.
- Upload your CV (PDF or Word). This is the most important step — everything else builds on it.
- Our AI parses your CV into a structured profile: your experience, skills, education, target roles and salary expectations. Review it and fill in anything the AI couldn't find.
- Head to your dashboard. AI matching runs over 1,000+ live UAE jobs and your matches appear there, each with a 0–100 match score and the reasons behind it.
The more complete your profile, the better your matches — so it's worth spending a couple of minutes checking the parsed details.
What's free
You can use plenty of JobXDubai without paying anything:
- Browsing and searching the job board
- The ATS resume checker at /ats (no signup needed)
- CV upload and your AI-built profile
- Your basic matches view
- The knowledge hub and career tools (gratuity, visa and leave calculators)
What a lifetime upgrade unlocks
A one-time lifetime plan (no subscription) unlocks the full toolkit:
- Copilot — a personalised weekly plan telling you exactly which jobs to apply to, what to fix on your CV, and who to contact
- Applications board — track every application from applied to offer
- Interview Prep — researched prep packs for specific applications
- Community — connect with other job seekers in the UAE
- Recruiter Directory — 147 verified UAE recruitment firms with named consultants
Lifetime plans also include a monthly allowance of 100 credits for AI actions. See Lifetime plans & pricing for details.

How AI job matching works+
Once your profile is set up, JobXDubai's matching engine works through three steps to find the jobs most worth your time.
The three-step pipeline
- Semantic search. The AI compares the meaning of your profile — your experience, skills and target roles — against 1,000+ live UAE jobs. This goes beyond keyword matching: a "Growth Marketer" profile can surface "Demand Generation Manager" roles even if the words don't overlap.
- Hard filters. Jobs that clearly don't fit are removed — for example, roles paying well below your salary floor or in the wrong location.
- AI scoring. The strongest remaining candidates are scored individually by AI, producing a match score from 0 to 100 along with plain-English reasons explaining the fit.
What the match score means
The score reflects how well a job fits your overall profile — skills, experience level, salary and location combined. As a rule of thumb, anything above 70 is a strong fit worth applying to, while scores in the 40s–60s may still be worthwhile if the role interests you. The reasons shown with each score tell you where the fit is strong and where it's weaker.
Why your matches change
Matches refresh regularly as new jobs are scraped and old listings close, so your list is never static. Around 100 matches are stored at a time — the freshest, best-fitting set rather than an ever-growing backlog. If a match disappears, the listing has usually closed or been outranked by better fits.
Tips for better matches
- Complete your profile. Missing skills or vague experience descriptions weaken the semantic search — the AI can only match what it knows about you.
- Set realistic salary expectations. An overly high salary floor filters out jobs you might actually want; leaving it blank removes a useful filter.
- Keep your target roles current. If you're pivoting careers, update your target roles so matching follows the new direction, not your old job title.
Copilot & Tools
Using your AI Copilot+
Copilot is your personalised weekly job-search plan, available on all lifetime plans. Instead of leaving you to guess what to do next, it lays out a concrete set of tasks each week based on your profile, your matches and where you are in your search.
What's in your weekly plan
Each week Copilot generates a fresh plan of tasks tailored to you. Typical task types include:
- Jobs to apply to — specific matched roles worth your time this week
- CV fixes — targeted improvements to strengthen your profile for the roles you're chasing
- Outreach messages — recruiters or hiring contacts to reach out to
- Follow-ups — applications that deserve a nudge
Done-with-you drafts
Most tasks come with drafted content ready to use. Expand a task and you'll find things like a tailored CV suggestion, a LinkedIn outreach message or a follow-up email — written for your specific situation, not a generic template. Click Copy to grab the draft, tweak it in your own voice, and send.
Working through your plan
- Open Copilot from your dashboard.
- Work through tasks in any order — each one explains why it matters.
- Mark a task Done when you've completed it, or Skip if it's not relevant this week. Skipping is fine; the plan adapts rather than nagging you.
Plan regeneration
Your plan regenerates weekly, taking into account what you completed, what you skipped and how your matches have changed. Generating a plan takes a little while — if you see it's still generating, check back in a minute or two.
Tasks you complete also feed your Applications board, so applying via a Copilot task automatically starts tracking that application in your pipeline.
If a plan ever feels off-target, make sure your profile and target roles are up to date — Copilot plans from your profile, so better inputs mean better plans.
Tracking your applications+
The Applications board, available on all lifetime plans, keeps your whole job search in one place — what to do next, where every application stands, and what's working. It has three tabs.
To do
This tab is your action list, fed by your Copilot weekly plan. Jobs Copilot recommends, CV fixes and outreach tasks land here so you always know what to tackle next. Tick items off as you go.
Pipeline
The Pipeline tab tracks every application through its stages: Applied, Interviewing and Offers. Move an application along as things progress — when a recruiter books a call, drag it to Interviewing; when an offer lands, move it to Offers. At a glance you can see how many irons you have in the fire and where each one sits.
Insights
Insights shows patterns across your search: how many applications you've sent, response rates, and where applications tend to stall. Use it to spot when it's time to adjust — for example, lots of applications but no interviews often points to a CV problem rather than a volume problem.
Logging applications manually
Not every application happens through JobXDubai, and that's fine. To keep your pipeline complete:
- Open the Applications board.
- Click Add application.
- Enter the company, role and date, and set the current stage.
Manually logged applications behave exactly like the rest — they appear in your pipeline, count in your insights and can have follow-ups.
Follow-up reminders
Applications that have gone quiet get follow-up reminders, so promising leads don't slip through the cracks. When a reminder fires, Copilot can draft the follow-up message for you — copy it, personalise it and send.
A well-timed follow-up a week or so after applying is one of the highest-return habits in a UAE job search, where hiring processes can move slowly. Let the board remember so you don't have to.
Preparing for interviews+
Landed an interview? Interview Prep, available on lifetime plans, builds a researched prep pack for that specific application — not generic interview advice, but a briefing tailored to the company, the role and you.
What's in a prep pack
Each pack is researched fresh for the application you choose and includes:
- Company research — what the company does, recent news, culture signals and talking points that show you've done your homework
- Likely questions — the questions you're most likely to face for this role, including role-specific technical ones, with pointers on how to answer from your own experience
- Salary benchmarks — market-rate data for the role in the UAE, drawn from Michael Page benchmark data, so you can negotiate from evidence rather than guesswork
How to generate a pack
- Open your Applications board and select the application you're interviewing for.
- Click Prepare for interview.
- Confirm — a pack costs 8 credits.
- The research runs in the background and takes a few minutes. You'll find the finished pack attached to the application when it's ready.
Why 8 credits?
Prep packs are the most credit-intensive AI action on JobXDubai because they involve genuine multi-source research into the company and role, not a single AI call. One pack typically replaces an evening of scattered Googling. Your lifetime plan's monthly allowance of 100 credits comfortably covers a busy interviewing month; see How credits work if you need a top-up.
Getting the most from it
Generate the pack as soon as the interview is booked, so the research has time to sink in. Read the likely questions out loud and sketch your answers — the pack gives you the raw material, but the delivery is yours. And bring the salary benchmarks into the final round: knowing the market rate is the difference between accepting an offer and negotiating one.
Billing
How credits work+
Credits are how AI usage works on JobXDubai. Every AI action — anything where the AI generates or tailors something for you — costs a small number of credits, so heavy users cover their own costs and everyone else never overpays.
What each action costs
| Action | Credits | | --- | --- | | Job application | 1 | | CV tailor | 1 | | Cover letter | 1 | | CV build | 5 | | Interview prep pack | 8 |
Your monthly allowance
Every lifetime plan includes a monthly allowance of 100 credits, which refreshes each month. For context, 100 credits comfortably covers dozens of tailored applications and cover letters in a month — most members never run out. Unused allowance doesn't roll over, so use it.
Top-ups
If you have a particularly intense month, you can buy top-up credits at any time:
- 10 credits — $5
- 30 credits — $12
- 100 credits — $29
Top-ups are one-time purchases via Stripe — no subscription involved.
What's always free
Plenty of JobXDubai never touches your credits:
- Browsing and searching the job board
- The ATS resume checker at /ats
- Uploading your CV and having the AI build your profile
- Viewing your matches
- The knowledge hub and career tools (gratuity, visa and leave calculators)
Credits only apply to AI actions you actively trigger, and you'll always see the cost before confirming — there are no surprise deductions.
You can check your current balance in your dashboard. If something looks wrong with your balance, email [email protected] or use the Feedback button and we'll sort it out.

Account
Your account, emails & privacy+
You're in control of how JobXDubai contacts you and what it does with your data. Here's where everything lives.
Job search status
In Settings you can set your job search status to one of three states:
- Searching — the default. Matching, Copilot and emails all run normally.
- Paused — taking a break? Pausing stops most emails so we're not in your inbox while you're not looking.
- Hired — congratulations! Setting yourself to hired also stops most emails and winds your account down gracefully. You can switch back to searching at any time if things change.
Keeping this accurate is the single best way to control how much you hear from us.
Email preferences
Under Settings → Email preferences you can control both which categories of email you receive (job matches, Copilot reminders, product updates and so on) and how often you receive them. We also cap overall email frequency by design, so even the default settings won't flood you.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. One click and that category stops — no login required.
Your data and privacy
Our privacy policy at /privacy explains exactly what data we collect and how we use it. In short: your CV and profile data exist to power your matches and AI tools, and are never sold.
Deleting your account
If you'd like your account and data deleted, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and ask for deletion. We'll remove your account, your CV and your profile data.
