We’re Hiring: Oracle Hyperion Technical Expert Location: Oman Work Mode: Onsite Experience: 8+ Years PURPOSE OF THE ROLE To administer, maintain, and provide technical support for the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) environment within the Maliyah platform, ensuring system stability, security, performance, and availability during post-implementation. KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Administer, maintain, and optimize the Oracle Hyperion EPM environment, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability. • Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues raised by the primary Maliyah support team, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting. • Design, configure, and maintain Hyperion environments, including DEV, TEST, and PROD, security configurations, integrations, and performance tuning. • Manage Oracle Hyperion Essbase, including cube design, calculation scripts, data load rules, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. • Design, configure, and maintain data integrations using FDMEE and Data Management, including source connectivity, mappings, validations, automation, and reconciliation. • Support Financial Reporting (FR) and Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service (EPRCS), including report deployment, scheduling, security, and integration. • Implement technical enhancements, patches, upgrades, and environment changes in accordance with Oracle best practices and change management procedures. • Develop and implement technical solutions based on approved business requirements in collaboration with functional Hyperion experts. • Maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, interfaces, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting guides. • Support backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and integration with Oracle databases and enterprise systems. • Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on Hyperion administration, integrations, and support processes. REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. • Minimum 8 years of hands-on technical experience implementing, administering, and supporting Oracle Hyperion EPM platforms in complex enterprise environments. • Strong technical expertise in Oracle Hyperion Planning and EPMA, including environment configuration, metadata management, security administration, and lifecycle management. • Hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion Essbase, including multidimensional cube design, calculation scripts, load rules, and performance tuning. • Experience with FDMEE and Data Management integrations, source system connectivity, mappings, validation rules, automation, and reconciliation. • Technical expertise in Financial Reporting (FR) and EPRCS, including report deployment, scheduling, security, and system integration. • Strong understanding of Hyperion architecture, environment management, patching, upgrades, backups, disaster recovery, and Oracle database integrations. • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred: Advanced degrees or relevant Oracle professional certifications.
