Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Inhype Live Limited ("we," "us," or "our"), a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company Number: 13379772), collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use JobXDubai at jobxdubai.com (the "Service") — an AI-powered career platform specialised in the United Arab Emirates job market.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), and — for our users in the UAE — the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, email address, password, and sign-in details from Google or LinkedIn if you use social login
  • CV and career data: your uploaded CV/resume and the information extracted from it — work history, education, skills, certifications, languages, salary expectations, visa status, and job preferences
  • Application data: jobs you save and apply to, application answers, cover letters, and interview preparation inputs
  • Community and coaching content: profile details, posts, comments, direct messages, event registrations, and coaching bookings
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe and Tap Payments — we never store your full card details
  • Communications: messages you send us, feedback, bug reports, and support requests

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, and language
  • Usage data: pages viewed, searches, features used, credits consumed, and interaction timestamps
  • Cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, security, and analytics

2.3 Browser Extension

If you install our browser extension, it detects application forms on career sites you visit and, on your instruction, fills them using your JobXDubai profile. The extension processes page content locally to detect forms and only sends data to our servers to fetch your profile and record applications you choose to track. It does not collect your general browsing history.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate your account and deliver the Service
  • To parse your CV and build your professional profile
  • To match you with relevant jobs — including generating vector embeddings of your profile and job listings for semantic matching, and using AI models to score and explain matches
  • To generate CVs, cover letters, interview preparation, and your weekly Copilot plan
  • To prepare and submit job applications on your instruction (Assisted Apply)
  • To process payments, credits, and purchases, and to prevent fraud and abuse (including chargeback fraud)
  • To operate the community, messaging, and coaching marketplace features
  • To send you service emails and — subject to your preferences — job alerts and career content (you can opt out at any time)
  • To improve the Service, monitor performance, and ensure security
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. AI Processing

JobXDubai uses third-party AI providers, including OpenAI and Google, to power features such as CV parsing, job matching, content generation, and interview preparation. When you use these features, relevant parts of your data (for example, your CV text or a job description) are sent to these providers for processing.

  • We use these providers' business APIs, under which your data is not used to train their models
  • AI providers process data only to deliver the requested output and are bound by their data processing terms
  • AI output may contain errors — always review generated content before using it

5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

  • Contract performance — providing the platform, matching, AI tools, applications, and billing
  • Legitimate interests — service improvement, security, fraud and abuse prevention, and analytics
  • Legal obligations — tax, accounting, and lawful requests from authorities
  • Consent — marketing emails, non-essential cookies, and optional features; you may withdraw consent at any time

6. How We Share Your Information

6.1 Employers and Application Platforms

This is the most important part of this policy. When you apply to a job — directly, via Assisted Apply, or via the extension — your application materials (CV, profile details, answers, cover letter) are shared with the employer and/or their applicant tracking system (e.g. Greenhouse, Lever, Workday). Once delivered, that data is controlled by the employer under their own privacy policy, and we cannot retrieve or delete it on your behalf. We only submit applications you initiate or authorise.

6.2 Coaches

When you book a coaching session, we share your name, contact details, and relevant career context with the coach so they can deliver the session.

6.3 Service Providers

  • Stripe and Tap Payments — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • OpenAI and Google — AI processing (see Section 4)
  • Cloudflare — content delivery, security, and file storage
  • DigitalOcean — cloud hosting
  • Email delivery and analytics providers
  • Telegram — only if you connect Telegram notifications

All service providers are bound by data processing agreements and process data only on our instructions.

6.4 Legal and Business

We may disclose information when required by law (court orders, law enforcement requests, protection of our legal rights — including evidence provided to payment processors in payment disputes), or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal data.

7. International Data Transfers

We serve candidates in the UAE and internationally, and your data may be processed in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States, and other countries where our providers operate. When we transfer data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), adequacy decisions, and equivalent mechanisms required by the UAE PDPL.

8. Data Retention

  • Account, profile, and CV data: for as long as your account is active
  • After account deletion: personal data is removed or anonymised within 90 days, except where longer retention is legally required
  • Payment and transaction records: 7 years (tax, accounting, and fraud-dispute evidence)
  • Application records: duration of your account, so you can track your history
  • Technical logs: up to 90 days
  • Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent

9. Your Rights

Under the UK/EU GDPR — and substantially similar rights under the UAE PDPL — you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”), subject to legal retention requirements
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing
  • Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), your local EU supervisory authority, or the UAE Data Office, as applicable

To exercise your rights, email [email protected] with the subject "Privacy Request." We respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot delete application data already delivered to employers (see Section 6.1) — contact the employer directly for that data.

10. Security

  • TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit and encryption at rest for stored files
  • Token-based authentication and access controls
  • Payment handling delegated to PCI-DSS-compliant processors
  • Vendor data processing agreements and incident response procedures

No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a personal data breach posing a risk to your rights, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours and affected users without undue delay.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, and analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.

12. Children

The Service is intended for job seekers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us immediately at [email protected].

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post the updated policy here, update the "Last updated" date, and notify you of material changes by email or in-Service notice.
