Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between JobXDubai.com and the Customer/Applicant. They are designed to reflect the most recent updates (2025) and ensure compliance with the applicable legal requirements in the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the European Union.
§ 1 Subject Matter of the Contract
1.1
JobXDubai.com and the undersigned contracting party (hereinafter “Customer” or “Applicant”) agree to perform the services detailed in this contract in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the current price list available at JobXDubai.com. These Terms and Conditions and the price list exclusively apply. Any conditions or provisions proposed by the Customer that deviate from these Terms and Conditions shall not be recognized unless expressly agreed in writing by JobXDubai.com.
1.2
These Terms and Conditions apply to every transaction with the Customer, with the version in force at the time of each contract’s conclusion.
§ 2 Conclusion of Contract
2.1
A contract is deemed concluded when the Customer places an order (whether in writing, by phone, or via an online form) and JobXDubai.com confirms acceptance. Any supplementary agreements are valid only if made in writing.
§ 3 Description of Services
3.1
JobXDubai.com is obligated to publish the products and job advertisements listed on JobXDubai.com (hereinafter “Service Elements”) and to provide the associated services as detailed in the contract.
3.2
JobXDubai.com may use customer data for trend analysis and statistical overviews. Any results published will be anonymized.
3.3
No guarantee is provided regarding non-competition.
§ 4 Compensation for Services
4.1
The compensation for the services rendered is determined by the price list published on JobXDubai.com at the time of the offer. (Note: Publication in the applicant database is free of charge.) For services not included in the published price list, individual agreements will be required.
§ 5 Cost Regulation and Payment Agreements
5.1
The service fee outlined in § 4 covers all ancillary costs typically incurred (e.g., email, telephone, fax, data transmission, postage, and photocopying). Correction costs arising from incorrect data provision are not included. Should individual orders lead to ancillary costs exceeding the usual scope, JobXDubai.com will notify the Customer, who must then reimburse these additional costs upon written confirmation.
5.2
Any post-publication corrections to a Service Element will incur a fee of €29 plus VAT, except in cases where defects in the published content are attributable to JobXDubai.com.
5.3
Invoices are payable within 7 days of receipt without deduction. In the event of delayed payment, interest at a rate of 8% above the European Central Bank’s base rate, plus any collection or reminder fees, will be applied. JobXDubai.com reserves the right to postpone publication of Service Elements until full payment is received and, following unsuccessful reminders, to withdraw from the contract (this does not affect any right of retention).
5.4
All price quotations are exclusive of statutory value-added tax, which is applied at the rate in force at the time of invoicing.
5.5
For payments from abroad, JobXDubai.com accepts bank transfers only if the Customer bears all associated bank charges.
5.6
Payments received will be allocated first to the oldest outstanding claims. JobXDubai.com may suspend service provision until all outstanding payments are settled.
§ 6 Basis of Cooperation
6.1
JobXDubai.com is committed to continuously optimizing its response to the Customer’s advertisements.
6.2
The rights and obligations arising from this contract are non-transferable and non-assignable without prior written consent from JobXDubai.com.
6.3
The Customer/Applicant consents to receiving informational and commercial communications from JobXDubai.com via post or email even after the contract has expired. This consent may be revoked at any time by notifying JobXDubai.com in writing.
6.4
The Customer/Applicant is responsible for ensuring that communications from JobXDubai.com are received without hindrance.
6.5
JobXDubai.com reserves the right to reject orders or remove published Service Elements if the content violates legal requirements, official prohibitions, third-party rights, or accepted moral standards (“inadmissible content”). This also applies to any links provided that lead directly or indirectly to such inadmissible content. The Customer’s payment obligations remain unaffected. JobXDubai.com will remove inadmissible content only in accordance with legal regulations and upon the Customer/Applicant’s request. Should JobXDubai.com be held liable for inadmissible content or any legal violation attributable to the Customer/Applicant, the Customer shall indemnify JobXDubai.com on first demand, including covering necessary legal costs.
6.6
For content published on JobXDubai.com:
- Advertisements for self-employment or freelance work must clearly state that status.
- Any requirement for advance payments or financial investments (including training or travel expenses) must be clearly highlighted.
- The content must directly relate to a vacant position or job.
- Advertising for club or association memberships is not permitted.
- Advertising that promotes participation in illegal multi-level marketing schemes is prohibited.
- Job titles and descriptions must be accurate and non-misleading.
- Websites provided for linking must comply with legal requirements, including the inclusion of an appropriate imprint.
- Compliance with applicable equal treatment legislation is mandatory. Failure to adhere to these conditions renders the content inadmissible.
6.7
JobXDubai.com is not responsible for data provided by the Customer, including ad texts, applicant profiles, and resumes, and is not obliged to store or return such data.
6.8
JobXDubai.com may engage subcontractors for the performance of its services.
6.9
The Customer/Applicant must maintain an IT infrastructure in line with current technological standards to prevent disruptions that might affect the services provided by JobXDubai.com.
6.10
The Customer/Applicant warrants that all submitted content is free of third-party rights. In the event of any infringement, the Customer shall indemnify JobXDubai.com for any damages incurred.
§ 7 Copyrights
7.1
All work products, materials, and information published by JobXDubai.com—including job advertisements designed and texted by JobXDubai.com—are subject to JobXDubai.com’s copyright. This protection does not extend to content provided by the Customer/Applicant, for which the Customer retains the applicable rights unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7.2
Unauthorized use or reproduction of any published content is prohibited. Requests for use must be directed to JobXDubai.com.
§ 8 Data Protection and Privacy
8.1
JobXDubai.com processes personal data in full compliance with all applicable data protection laws, including:
- The United Arab Emirates Data Protection Law,
- The United Kingdom Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR,
- The European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8.2
Detailed information on how personal data is collected, processed, and used is provided in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
8.3
By using the services of JobXDubai.com, the Customer/Applicant consents to the processing of their personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
§ 9 Liability and Indemnification
9.1
JobXDubai.com is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of its services, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.
9.2
The Customer/Applicant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless JobXDubai.com from any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from a breach of these Terms and Conditions or violation of applicable laws.
9.3
Liability for direct damages is limited to the amount of the service fee paid for the affected Service Element, except where a higher amount is mandated by applicable law.
§ 10 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the mandatory provisions of the laws of the United Arab Emirates. In addition, where applicable, mandatory provisions of United Kingdom and European Union law shall apply.
10.2
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Notwithstanding the foregoing, JobXDubai.com reserves the right to seek interim or provisional relief in any jurisdiction where such measures may be granted.
§ 11 Miscellaneous
11.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and any supplementary agreements, constitute the entire agreement between the parties and replace all prior understandings and agreements.
11.2 Severability
Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
11.3 Amendments
Any amendments to these Terms and Conditions must be made in writing and signed by both parties. Updated versions shall apply to all future transactions.
11.4 Language
In case of discrepancies between different language versions of these Terms and Conditions, the designated language version shall prevail.
