Clapp is looking to hire a Business Development Manager with a background in IT related field, with local knowledge of the market, including business and economic developments across the UAE. The candidate is tasked to set & achieve monthly & yearly sales targets by implementing a multi-channel sales strategy, lead and represent the brand, set milestones, and implement growth strategies locally and regionally. Meet media, influencers, members, clients, and other client stakeholders on a regular basis. Duties and Responsibilities • Set & achieve monthly & yearly sales targets by implementing a multi-channel sales strategy. • Be a key lead in communications outputs, taking ownership of messaging, brand optics, and key stakeholders. • Lead and represent the brand, set milestones, and implement growth strategies locally and regionally. • Be able to manage teams and develop their skill sets. • Meet media, influencers, members, clients, and other client stakeholders on a regular basis. • Local knowledge of the market, including business and economic developments across the UAE. • Possess solid experience within IT related business categories/industries. • Possess solid regional media and influencer relations. • Possess solid business ties across multiple business categories/industries. • Report to CEO with detailed reports, metrics, and financial indicators. • Able to work in fast paced environment • Bilingual Arabic/English preferred • Identify potential countries and franchisees • Conduct market studies on preferred markets • Coordinate with other team members to maximize retail growth Qualifications • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, ideally within investment management, financial services, or related sectors. • Strong skills in market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic planning, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business initiatives. • Proficiency in negotiation, presentation, and communication, including creating proposals, pitch materials, and business cases for diverse stakeholders. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage. • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices in client and team interactions.
