Company: eMagine Solutions DMCC (confidential client) Location: Dubai, UAE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent eMagine Solutions is hiring a Senior Business Development Manager for a global freight forwarding and logistics business that’s new to the UAE market. This is a high-visibility, direct sales role for someone with a true hunter mindset who can build a pipeline from zero, win new clients, and then grow and lead a commercial team as the business scales. This starts as an individual contributor role (hands-on new business), with a clear progression path into Brand Manager / Country Manager as the UAE operation grows. The role (what you’ll be doing) • Own new business development across the UAE: air freight, sea freight, road/land freight, customs clearance, warehousing, and end-to-end logistics solutions • Prospect, qualify, and convert mid-to-large clients across multiple sectors (B2B) • Drive outbound activity: cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking events, referrals • Book and lead client meetings, run discovery, and present tailored solutions • Build account plans, map stakeholders, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to close • Maintain strong CRM hygiene, forecasting, pipeline reporting, and KPI delivery • Collaborate with operations and customer service to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery • Help shape the go-to-market approach in the UAE (territory planning, target lists, messaging, outreach cadence) • As the business grows: hire, coach, and lead a BD/sales team setting standards, mentoring, and driving performance Ideal profile • Strong UAE B2B sales experience within freight forwarding / logistics / supply chain solutions • Proven hunter: consistent new client acquisition, pipeline generation, and closing ability • Comfortable selling solutions (not just rates) and handling multi-stakeholder deals • Strong commercial discipline: KPIs, reporting, CRM, forecasting, structured follow-up • Team leadership experience is required (leading, mentoring, coaching, building teams or scaling a function) • Entrepreneurial mindset: happy to be hands-on at the start, but capable of stepping into leadership as the market grows • Dubai-based (or already in the UAE); existing logistics/freight networks are a strong advantage Keywords (for search / job boards) Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Supply Chain, Air Freight, Sea Freight, Road Freight, Customs Clearance, 3PL, 4PL, Warehousing, Distribution, Cross-border, Import/Export, Trade Logistics, B2B Sales, New Business Development, Hunter, Direct Sales, Solution Selling, Account Mapping, Key Accounts, Pipeline Generation, Cold Calling, LinkedIn Outreach, CRM, Forecasting, Sales Leadership, Team Lead, Coaching, Mentoring, Sales Manager, Country Manager Track, Go-to-Market, UAE, Dubai.
