Job Description Designation : Business Development Manager Department : Sales Location : Dubai Job Summary We are seeking a high-performing, driven Business Development Manager to lead and expand our client acquisition and revenue growth strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in international freight and logistics, an established network of exporters, importers, freight buyers, and CHA (Customs House Agents), and a proven track record of closing high-value accounts. This is a hunter-and-farmer role — you will be expected to actively generate new business while nurturing and growing existing accounts. Key Responsibilities:- • Generate new business and achieve sales targets. • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships. • Handle sales of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Logistics services. • Identify new business opportunities in the UAE and GCC markets. • Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals. • Coordinate with Pricing and Operations teams for smooth service delivery. • Manage key customer accounts and ensure customer satisfaction. • Lead and support the sales team to achieve business goals. • Monitor market trends and competitor activities. • Ensure timely payment collection from customers. • Maintain sales reports, pipeline, and CRM records. • Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events. Educational Qualification & Required Skills:- • 7+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics Sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. • Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Supply Chain solutions. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. • Experience in handling key accounts and developing new business. • Good understanding of the UAE/GCC logistics market. • A valid UAE driving license is preferred. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field. • MBA or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
