About the role

TruKKer is hiring a Business Development Specialist (Hunter) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia to win new FTL and land-transport customers every month. This is a pure new-business role. You find shippers who don’t yet use us, then pitch, negotiate and close. You then hand the account to Key Accounts and Operations for a smooth start. We do road freight only: FTL and land transport. No sea, no air, no express. Key Responsibilities • Hunt new business: identify, target and win new FTL and land-transport shippers across KSA (manufacturers, FMCG, building materials, retail, traders and other businesses that move cargo by road). Close new accounts every month against an agreed target. • Build your own pipeline through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach and daily field visits to factories, warehouses and industrial areas. • Understand each prospect’s lanes, volumes, truck-type needs and pain points, and position TruKKer’s road-freight service to fit. • Prepare quotes and proposals with Pricing and Operations, negotiate rates and terms within approved margins, and close rate agreements. • Coordinate onboarding documents and credit approval with Finance and Collections so accounts start clean. • Hand over won accounts to Key Account Management and Operations, and stay involved through the first shipments until the account is stable. • Update the CRM daily, and share a weekly pipeline update and a monthly new-business report with management. • Track competitor rates, market trends and new industrial or infrastructure projects that create road-freight demand, and feed this back to the team. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field. • 3–8 years of B2B sales or business development experience, with a proven record of winning new accounts, not just managing existing ones. • Experience selling logistics, trucking or road-freight services. Candidates from logistics companies preferred. • Hunter mindset: self-driven, target-focused, comfortable with cold outreach and rejection, and persistent until the deal closes. • Own car and a valid Saudi driving licence. The role is field-based, with daily client visits. • Good knowledge of the KSA market and an existing network of shippers and decision-makers is a strong plus. • Strong negotiation and communication skills in English. Arabic is a strong plus. • Comfortable with CRM tools, MS Office and LinkedIn for prospecting. Success Measures (monthly) • New accounts signed against target • Freight volume or revenue from new accounts • Qualified meetings, quotes issued and quote-to-win ratio
