Oracle Consultant

Role Summary Support and enhance Oracle Hyperion enterprise performance management solutions, working with business stakeholders to translate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting needs into functional configurations and reliable processes. Key Responsibilities • Gather and analyse business requirements for planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation and management reporting processes, as applicable to the client environment. • Configure and maintain Hyperion applications, business rules, forms, dimensions, metadata and workflows in line with approved requirements. • Support application enhancements, user acceptance testing, defect resolution and release activities. • Investigate incidents and service requests, identify root causes and coordinate fixes with technical teams where needed. • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scenarios and user guides. • Work with finance and business users to improve data quality, process controls and reporting outcomes. • Support user training, knowledge transfer and ongoing application support. Required Skills & Experience • Minimum 7 years of relevant Hyperion functional consulting experience. • Hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion EPM products relevant to the client scope; candidates must specify exact products and versions used. • Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation or financial reporting processes. • Experience in requirements workshops, functional configuration, testing, documentation and production support. • Strong stakeholder communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. • Oracle/Hyperion certification is an advantage.
