Required Certification: PMP Certification Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a strong engineering background, proven experience in construction project management, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while ensuring successful project delivery within the required timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality specifications. Key Responsibilities • Plan, manage, and oversee construction projects from initiation through completion. • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with senior management. • Develop and implement project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. • Supervise project engineers, site personnel, subcontractors, and other construction teams. • Prepare project budgets, monitor costs, and recommend necessary adjustments. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and relevant government authorities. • Oversee Abu Dhabi Civil Defence certification and recertification processes for assigned projects. • Identify project risks, manage changes, and implement appropriate corrective measures. • Track project milestones, critical paths, and overall progress using project management tools. • Prepare and submit regular project progress reports, technical documentation, and management presentations. • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal management systems, and applicable regulations. Mandatory Requirements • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction and project management. • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a directly relevant engineering discipline. • Valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. • Proven experience managing construction projects from planning to successful completion. • Strong knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and resource management. • Experience supervising construction teams, project engineers, and subcontractors. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Primavera or equivalent project management software, and Microsoft Office. • Strong understanding of construction safety, quality management, risk assessment, and internal controls. • Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities. • Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
