Project Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) - Oil & Gas | ADNOC Experience Mandatory

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Oil & Gas Salary: AED 12,000–18,000 per month Experience: 5 - 10 Years minimum ADNOC Experience: Mandatory UAE/GCC Experience: Mandatory Offshore Requirement: Must be willing to work offshore for 5 months Education: Bachelor's and master's Degree Mandatory About the Role We are hiring an experienced Project Engineer (Electrical & Instrumentation) with strong expertise in Oil & Gas project execution, engineering, project planning, procurement, cost control, installation, testing, commissioning, and project supervision. • The ideal candidate must have an Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering educational background, relevant E&I project engineering experience, and proven exposure to ADNOC projects. • The role involves managing engineering activities from conceptual design and technical documentation through procurement, manpower planning, cost estimation, project execution, final commissioning, and client handover. Candidates must be willing and available to work offshore for a period of 5 months. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution • Plan, coordinate, and supervise Electrical & Instrumentation engineering activities for Oil & Gas projects. • Manage project activities from conceptual engineering and design through commissioning and final handover. • Develop project objectives, execution plans, schedules, and technical deliverables. • Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to meet deadlines. • Coordinate project resources, manpower requirements, and engineering activities. Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering • Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, electrical single-line diagrams, loop diagrams, and technical specifications. • Supervise installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. • Ensure engineering designs and installations meet project specifications, performance standards, and ADNOC requirements. • Support technical inspections, functional testing, and final project commissioning. Project Cost Control & Procurement • Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and project requirements. • Coordinate procurement activities and material requirements. • Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and resource utilization. • Review contractor quotations, technical bids, and project-related contracts. • Ensure projects are completed within approved budgets and timelines. Project Coordination & Reporting • Coordinate with Project Managers, Maintenance Supervisors, Engineering Foremen, contractors, and technical teams. • Prepare daily progress updates, weekly/monthly project reports, and engineering documentation. • Monitor project schedules, work orders, and technical deliverables. • Identify technical challenges and recommend effective solutions. • Communicate project requirements, proposals, and progress updates to clients and stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with project quality standards, HSE procedures, and company policies. Professional Experience • 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience, including Electrical & Instrumentation project engineering within the Oil & Gas industry. • Previous ADNOC project experience is mandatory. • UAE/GCC work experience is mandatory. • Demonstrated experience in engineering project planning, execution, supervision, and commissioning. • Strong experience in project costing, budgeting, procurement, and contractor coordination. • Proven ability to manage technical documentation, project schedules, and engineering deliverables. • Experience in electrical and instrumentation installations, testing, and troubleshooting. • Ability to coordinate multiple engineering disciplines and technical teams. • Must be willing to work offshore for 5 months in Abu Dhabi.
