Procurement Engineer / Procurement Officer We are looking for a Procurement Engineer / Procurement Officer to join our team and manage the procurement process for construction, interior design, and landscaping projects. Key Responsibilities • Manage the complete procurement cycle from material requisition to delivery. • Source and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors. • Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and suitable quality. • Prepare RFQs, purchase orders, comparison sheets, and procurement reports. • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, designers, and site teams to understand material and project requirements. • Ensure materials are procured according to approved specifications, drawings, quantities, quality standards, and project schedules. • Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions with suppliers. • Follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites. • Coordinate with suppliers and site teams regarding delivery, inspections, and material approvals. • Maintain proper records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and procurement documentation. • Identify alternative materials and suppliers where required while maintaining quality and project requirements. • Monitor market prices and develop a reliable supplier network. • Resolve procurement and delivery issues efficiently to avoid project delays. • Ensure procurement activities are aligned with company policies and project budgets. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field. • Previous experience in construction, interior fit-out, landscaping, or related industries is preferred. • Strong knowledge of construction and finishing materials, suppliers, and market pricing. • Good negotiation, communication, coordination, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement requirements simultaneously. • Proficiency in MS Office / Excel and procurement or ERP systems. • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. • UAE/GCC procurement experience is an advantage.
