About the role Position Title: Consultant-Production Architecture (Process) Work Location: Kuwait Department: On-sync Energy Management Services Company. Job Responsibilities • Provide specialist consultancy and expert advice on production architecture, process engineering, flow assurance, and hydraulics for complex Oil & Gas developments. • Define and lead technical studies to identify opportunities, risks, and improvement areas for early production and new field developments. • Review major technical, operability, and integration challenges and direct the required data gathering and technical analysis. • Conduct and review flow assurance and hydraulic studies covering multiphase flow, pressure and temperature profiles, long-distance tiebacks, slugging, erosion, corrosion, and production operability. • Advise on production architecture concepts, including field layouts, gathering systems, flowline routing, and surface facility configurations. • Evaluate and support the implementation of fit-for-purpose technologies such as boosting systems, multiphase pumping, gas treatment, sulfur recovery, and production facilities. • Provide technical advice for developments involving HP/HT, sour service, high water cut, and other complex operating conditions. • Review contractor and consultant deliverables to ensure compliance with technical, operability, flow assurance, and production readiness requirements. • Provide process engineering input throughout concept, pre-FEED, FEED, and project execution stages, including technical reviews and stage-gate assessments. • Assess technical interfaces between new developments and existing assets, including tie-ins, brownfield modifications, and operational integration. • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Projects, HSE, Planning, contractors, consultants, and technology providers on technical studies and initiatives. • Provide coaching and mentoring to Process Engineers and support technical knowledge transfer and capability development. • Participate in strategic technical planning and support the adoption of emerging technologies and industry best practices. • Apply risk management principles to identify, assess, and mitigate technical and operational risks. • Ensure compliance with applicable HSE requirements and perform other related duties within the scope of the consultant role. Qualification Requirements • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. • Postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) is preferred. • Minimum 15 years of relevant Oil & Gas experience in process engineering, production facilities, flow assurance, hydraulics, or production architecture consultancy. • Demonstrated consultancy experience in early production, new field developments, complex facilities projects, and large-scale Oil & Gas developments. • Strong expertise in production architecture, process engineering, flow assurance, and hydraulic analysis. • Experience with multiphase flow systems, long-distance tiebacks, slugging, erosion/corrosion, and complex production operating conditions. • Strong understanding of production facility design, field development concepts, and technical interfaces between new and existing assets. • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary technical studies and provide expert advice on complex engineering challenges. • Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
