Role: Software Project Manager - Arabic Speaker Experience: 12+ Years Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced IT & Software Project Manager to manage the end-to-end delivery, implementation, and ongoing operations of enterprise software projects and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities • Manage the complete lifecycle of software and IT projects, from planning and requirements through development, testing, deployment, handover, and ongoing operations. • Manage the day-to-day operational activities of deployed software platforms, ensuring system availability, stability, support, issue resolution, and service continuity. • Act as the primary coordination point between clients, management, software development teams, infrastructure teams, business analysts, QA teams, vendors, and other stakeholders. • Communicate effectively with senior executives, government stakeholders, high-profile clients, and external partners. • Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear project status, progress, risks, dependencies, issues, and required decisions. • Coordinate with software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, database, integration, AI, and support teams to ensure smooth project delivery and operations. • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, risk registers, action trackers, and project documentation.. • Challenge vendors where required and ensure deliverables meet contractual, technical, quality, and business requirements. • Participate in vendor selection, technical evaluations, commercial discussions, and performance reviews. • Coordinate third-party integrations, APIs, infrastructure dependencies, licenses, and external systems required for project delivery. • Manage project risks, dependencies, blockers, and escalations and ensure timely resolution. • Ensure requirements and change requests are properly documented, assessed, approved, prioritized, and tracked. Required Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT/software project management, application management, or digital transformation projects. • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies. • Experience managing enterprise applications, web applications, mobile applications, integrations, APIs, databases, and cloud/on-premise environments. Preferred Qualifications • PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, ITIL, or equivalent professional certification. • Experience working on government, smart city, enterprise digital transformation, AI, ERP, or large-scale technology projects. • Experience managing projects involving multiple systems, vendors, integrations, and stakeholder groups. • Experience working with geographically distributed development and support teams. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar environments.
