Job Description – Project Manager Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 5+ Years Industry: Banking / Financial Services About the Role We are seeking an experienced and delivery-focused Project Manager to lead business and technology initiatives within a dynamic banking environment. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with senior business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners to deliver strategic change programmes that support the bank's transformation agenda. Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end delivery of business and technology projects. • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans. • Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and governance structures. • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests. • Track project progress against agreed milestones and proactively address delivery risks. • Prepare and present regular status updates to programme boards, steering committees, and senior executives. • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors. • Manage third-party suppliers to ensure contractual obligations and delivery milestones are achieved. • Ensure effective stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle. • Drive project governance, documentation, reporting, and quality assurance. • Support business readiness activities including communications, training, operational handover, and post-implementation reviews. • Ensure compliance with internal governance standards, regulatory requirements, and banking policies. Required Experience • Minimum 5 years' experience delivering projects within the banking or financial services sector. • Demonstrated experience managing technology, digital transformation, regulatory, or operational change initiatives. • Proven track record of delivering multiple concurrent projects. • Experience managing project budgets, timelines, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams. • Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Technical Skills Experience with: • Microsoft Project • Jira • Confluence • Microsoft Office Suite • SharePoint • Power BI (desirable) • Azure DevOps (desirable) Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline. • PMP certification or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification preferred. • Agile certifications such as Scrum Master, SAFe, or AgilePM are advantageous.
