Job Summary The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving regional sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. The role focuses heavily on public sector engagement, tender management, and solution-based selling, particularly within government and large-scale institutional environments. Requirements Business Development & Sales • Achieve assigned regional sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth. • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities. • Conduct market research on target countries, including tenders, competitors, pricing, and technology trends. • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management. Partnership & Client Management • Identify, evaluate, and onboard local business partners to strengthen market presence. • Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities and key stakeholders. • Manage ongoing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities. Tendering & Bid Management • Monitor and evaluate government tenders and RFPs. • Define bidding strategies (direct, partner-led, or consortium-based). • Lead the bid management process and coordinate with internal stakeholders. • Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals with high success rates Cross-Functional Coordination • Collaborate with pre-sales, product development, legal, and operations teams. • Ensure smooth handover of awarded projects with complete documentation. • Provide market insights and customer feedback to product teams. Market Representation • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows. • Support regional marketing initiatives and promote product awareness. Systems & Compliance • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems. • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration • Postgraduate qualification in Sales or Business Development is preferred • Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in public sector or government sales • Proven track record in selling AI-based, data-driven, or advanced technology solutions • Strong experience in tendering, bidding, and large-scale project acquisition Skills & Competencies • Strong business development and negotiation skills • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to manage complex sales cycles Language Requirements • English: Fluent (mandatory) • Arabic: Preferred • Additional languages are an advantage Show more Show less
