For more details, please visit our website: Www.Elsewedyelectric.com Job Title: Business Development Manager Reporting to: Commercial Director Location: Dubai, UAE Duration: Full Time Job Purpose: • Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals. • A primary goal is to drive growth, identify new opportunities and support activities in Oil & Gas, Power Utilities and Commercial Sectors • Tender Management Key Accountabilities: • Responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of effective business development strategies and policies across key market segments with specific focus on Oil and Gas, Power Utilities and Commercial sectors • Researches and analyzes environmental and competitive conditions, customer needs, and market trends. • Ensures that activities are cost effective, efficient, and within established budget constraints • Ensures that Business plans, goals, and policies are consistent with established Company-wide goals. • Leverages current alliances and customer relationships to further expand business development opportunities at all levels. • Responsible for developing new market opportunities. • Maintains a current knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, channels and competitors to support business development opportunities. • Networks with industry leaders and builds relationships to facilitate expanded sales opportunities. • Effectively gives support to the Management Team. • Developing and executing strategic campaigns; to include developing customer insight, implementing customer contact plans, influencing request for proposal (RFP) requirements, assessing the competitive environment, developing prime/subcontractor options, and teaming strategies, developing value propositions and win themes, and creating pricing strategies. • Leads the entire process, including reviews with executive leadership and various presentations. • Supports transition of awarded contracts from Business Development organization to Operations organization. • Manage sales activities in the target territories and sectors • Account management of existing customers • Respond to enquiries from customers including the submission of quotations and tenders • Close out on sales and limited contract negotiations • Work with the wider Elsewedy Digital team to ensure ‘specialist’ advice is sought and incorporated into the bid; • Pre-qualification and registration of company with clients and end users • Customer presentations • Monitoring & reporting of business opportunities • Maintain working relations with the company’s suppliers and EPC contractors • Assignment and recommendation of business partner companies including agents and distributors where applicable • Any other reasonable duties as requested by management • Analyzing the requirements within the CT. • Managing the staff that will write and prepare the tender. • Developing a compelling proposal that will meet the requirements and stand out from other bids. • Producing a pricing structure that will win the bid as well as produce a profit by the end of the project. • Minimizing risk and maximizing the impact of the tender. Key Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / IT / Telecommunications (MBA preferred) • Minimum 15+ years of experience in business development within ELV & ICT sectors • Strong exposure to GCC markets (mandatory) • Proven track record in securing large-scale projects (government / infrastructure / oil & gas preferred) • In-depth knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, FAS, BMS, AV) and ICT solutions (Smart Cities, Networking, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Centres) • Strong network with consultants, EPC contractors, and government entities in GCC • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills • Ability to handle end-to-end sales cycle including tendering and contract finalization Preferred Skills: • Has direct relationships with engineering managers and procurement managers in Petrofac, McDermott, NPCC, Technip Energies, Kent, Wood, and Worley. • Familiarity with GCC procurement processes and regulations • Strong commercial acumen and contract management skills • CRM and pipeline management expertise Show more Show less
