Senior Site Engineer – Civil (Power Generation) Dubai, UAE

Location: Dubai, UAE Project Type: Confidential power generation IPP project Contract Type: Project-based assignment Company Description For a power generation IPP project in Dubai, UAE, we are mobilizing an Owner’s Engineer team to support EPC design review, construction supervision, site inspection, testing, commissioning, COD readiness, and warranty-period follow-up. We are looking for experienced professionals with strong EPC, Owner’s Engineer, consultant-side, power generation, utilities, waste-to-energy, biogas, landfill gas, thermal power, or industrial project experience. Job Description We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer – Civil to supervise civil and structural works on behalf of the Owner’s Engineer team for a confidential power generation IPP project in Dubai. Key Responsibilities Include • Review civil design documents, drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and material submittals. • Supervise civil works including earthworks, foundations, concrete works, buildings, drainage, roads, underground services, and site infrastructure. • Monitor EPC Contractor civil works for compliance with approved drawings, EPC Contract requirements, quality standards, and HSE procedures. • Review geotechnical, survey, and site investigation information where required. • Identify civil construction issues, non-conformities, delays, and site constraints. • Coordinate with civil inspectors, discipline engineers, QA/QC teams, and the EPC Contractor. • Support site meetings, progress reviews, punch list preparation, and close-out activities. • Review civil inspection records, daily reports, as-built drawings, and handover documentation. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum 10–12 years of civil site engineering experience. • Experience in power generation, utilities, industrial plants, infrastructure, or EPC projects. • Strong knowledge of civil works, foundations, concrete, buildings, site infrastructure, QA/QC, and construction supervision. • Previous Owner’s Engineer or consultant-side experience is preferred.
