Location: Dubai, UAE Project Type: Confidential power generation IPP project Contract Type: Project-based assignment Company Description For a power generation IPP project in Dubai, UAE, we are mobilizing an Owner’s Engineer team to support EPC design review, construction supervision, site inspection, testing, commissioning, COD readiness, and warranty-period follow-up. We are looking for experienced professionals with strong EPC, Owner’s Engineer, consultant-side, power generation, utilities, waste-to-energy, biogas, landfill gas, thermal power, or industrial project experience. Job Description We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer – Instrumentation & Control to supervise I&C design review, installation, testing, loop checking, automation, control system integration, and commissioning support activities for a confidential power generation IPP project in Dubai. Key Responsibilities Include • Review I&C design documents, control philosophy, instrument index, datasheets, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, cause & effect matrix, and system architecture. • Supervise installation of field instruments, control panels, PLC / DCS / SCADA systems, analyzers, junction boxes, cabling, and related automation infrastructure. • Review method statements, ITPs, test procedures, calibration records, loop folders, and commissioning procedures. • Witness calibration, loop checks, functional testing, interlock testing, SAT, and control system integration testing. • Participate in HAZOP and safety reviews where required. • Coordinate I&C interfaces with electrical, mechanical, process, and commissioning teams. • Review O&M manuals, as-built drawings, software documentation, and I&C close-out records. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, Electronics, Automation Engineering, or related discipline. • Minimum 10 years of I&C engineering and site supervision experience. • Experience in power generation, utilities, industrial plants, waste-to-energy, biogas, landfill gas, or EPC projects. • Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, field instrumentation, loop checking, functional testing, and commissioning. • Owner’s Engineer or consultant-side supervision experience is preferred.
