Location: Dubai, UAE Project Type: Confidential power generation IPP project Contract Type: Project-based assignment Company Description For a power generation IPP project in Dubai, UAE, we are mobilizing an Owner’s Engineer team to support EPC design review, construction supervision, site inspection, testing, commissioning, COD readiness, and warranty-period follow-up. We are looking for experienced professionals with strong EPC, Owner’s Engineer, consultant-side, power generation, utilities, waste-to-energy, biogas, landfill gas, thermal power, or industrial project experience. Job Description We are looking for a Senior Site Engineer – Mechanical to supervise mechanical installation, erection, inspection, testing, and commissioning interface activities for a confidential power generation IPP project in Dubai. Key Responsibilities Include • Review mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment data sheets, method statements, ITPs, and material submittals. • Supervise mechanical works including equipment installation, piping, packages, supports, skids, pumps, rotating equipment, static equipment, and balance-of-plant systems. • Monitor EPC Contractor workmanship, progress, quality, safety, and compliance with approved documentation. • Review mechanical QA/QC records, inspection reports, test packs, pressure test records, alignment records, and punch lists. • Support FAT, SAT, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. • Coordinate with civil, electrical, I&C, welding, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams. • Review O&M manuals, spare parts lists, as-built drawings, and mechanical close-out documentation. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum 10–12 years of mechanical engineering and site supervision experience. • Experience in power generation, utilities, waste-to-energy, biogas, landfill gas, industrial plants, or EPC projects. • Strong knowledge of mechanical installation, piping, rotating equipment, QA/QC, testing, and commissioning interfaces. • Previous Owner’s Engineer or consultant-side experience is preferred. • GCC / UAE experience is an advantage.
