Develop and update the technical specifications for vehicles, equipment, and their spare parts for all operational uses.Plan the procurement, supply, and storage of transportation-related materials required for the Department’s fleet of vehicles and equipment, in accordance with best practices, optimal cost-efficiency principles, and annual and daily purchase orders.Conduct financial cost analyses of procurement, storage, and other activities carried out by the Department. Evaluate alternative solutions aimed at reducing costs, and assess all risks associated with supply, purchasing, and storage operations, including identifying potential impacts and proposing mitigation measures.Review and update service request requirements, including requests for materials, services, projects, tender solicitation requirements, and technical evaluation procedures, in coordination with relevant organizational units. Participate in updating minimum and maximum stock levels, reorder points, and lead times for inventory items based on consumption rates.
