Beginning of the main content section.Return to the home pagePrintable Format Job Description - Manager of Archaeological sites and research (26001757)Job Description Manager of Archaeological sites and research - (26001757) Job Description ▪ الإدارة والاشراف العام على المواقع الأثرية والأبحاث التابعة للهيئة وفق الخطة الاستراتيجية والتشغيلية والموازنات المالية المعتمدة وتطوير المؤشرات الخاصة بالعمل في قسم المواقع الأثرية والأبحاث والعمل على تحقيقها وتطبيق معايير الجودة المتبعة. ▪ المشاركة على إصدار التشريعات الخاصة بالحفاظ على الأثار وذلك عن طريق وضع السياسات والإجراءات التنظيمية لتحديد وتسجيل الآثار محلياً وعالمياً. ▪ المشاركة في تطوير وتنفيذ مشاريع وبرامج ومبادرات تهدف إلى تنمية المواقع الأثرية والأبحاث والحفاظ عليه. ▪ المشاركة في العمل تعزيز العلاقات مع الشركاء لإقامة شراكات استراتيجية في مجال الآثار بالدولة للترويج المواقع الأثرية والأبحاث. ▪ الإشراف على تنفيذ كافة العمليات والإجراءات المتعلقة بإجراء المسوحات ومشاريع التنقيب للمواقع الأثرية وتقييمها والتأكد من تصنيف الآثار وترقيمها وتسجيلها وفهرستها. ▪ تقديم الدعم والمساندة للمؤسسات الأثرية والأفراد العاملين في الآثار والأبحاث لتطوير وزيادة المشاركة العامة في الحفاظ على الآثار والأبحاث. ▪ تقديم الدعم والمساندة للمؤسسات الآثار والأفراد العاملين في الآثار لتطوير وزيادة المشاركة العامة في الحفاظ على الآثار. ▪ الاشراف على اعداد ونشر الملاحق والنشرات الخاصة بالمواقع الأثرية في مناطق تواجد السياح. ▪ التعاون المستمر مع وسائل الإعلام المحلية والدولية المرئية والمقروءة والمسموعة وتسهيل مهام فرق التصوير وتقديم كافة المعلومات اللازمة لإنجاح مهامهم. ▪ التغطية الإعلامية للمواقع الأثرية المقامة في المواقع في الصحف والدوريات المحلية والتطبيقات الذكية ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وغيرها بالتنسيق مع إدارة التسويق والاتصال المؤسسي. ▪ الاشراف على اعداد ونشر الملاحق والنشرات والأبحاث الخاصة بالقطع الأثرية بالمواقع الأثرية. ▪ مراقبة الأعمال ففي كافة المواقع الاثرية والأبحاث بالتنسيق مع الوحدات التنظيمية المعنية والجهات المختصة من خلال التنسيق فيما يخص توفير الموارد البشرية وتقنية المعلومات والاحتياجات من الخدمات والصيانة والدعم اللوجستي. ▪ قيادة وتوجيه ومراجعة واعتماد أساليب العمل ومؤشرات الأداء والجودة والعمليات الرئيسية والقيام بوضع المقترحات اللازمة لتحسين العمل ورفعها إلى الإدارة العليا لاعتمادها والعمل بموجبها. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, History and Archaeology or an equivalent from an accredited university; preferably a Master's degree. 10 years of relevant professional experience.

General administration and supervision of the Authority's archaeological sites and research according to the approved strategic and operational plans and budgets; develop performance indicators for the Archaeological Sites and Research Section and work to achieve them and apply quality standards. Participate in issuing regulations related to the preservation of artifacts by establishing policies and procedures to identify and register artifacts locally and globally. Contribute to the development and implementation of projects, programs, and initiatives aimed at developing archaeological sites and research and preservation. Collaborate to enhance relations with partners to establish strategic partnerships in the field of archaeology in the country to promote archaeological sites and research. Supervise the execution of all operations and procedures related to surveys and excavation projects for archaeological sites, assess them, and ensure the classification, numbering, recording, and cataloging of artifacts. Provide support to institutions and individuals working in archaeology and research to develop and increase public participation in the preservation of artifacts and research. Supervise the preparation and publication of appendices, newsletters, and reports related to archaeological sites in areas accessible to tourists. Continuous collaboration with local and international media (print, visual, and audio) and facilitate filming teams and provide all information needed to successful task completion. Media coverage of sites published in local newspapers, journals, smart applications, social media, etc., in coordination with Marketing and Institutional Communications. Supervise the preparation and publication of newsletters and research related to archaeological artifacts at sites. Monitor operations at all archaeological sites and research activities in coordination with relevant units and authorities, including securing human resources, ICT resources, services, maintenance, and logistics support. Lead, direct, review, and approve work methods, performance and quality indicators, core processes, and propose improvements for management approval and implementation.
