Job Purpose: The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for supporting the day-to-day coordination and Supervision of SANAD’s fleet operations to efficient vehicle utilization, timely maintenance, compliance with company requirements, and accurate fleet records management. The role supports operational continuity by coordinating vehicle assignments, maintenance activities, vendor follow-ups, and fleet documentation while ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards. Roles & Responsibilities: Operations: - Coordinates daily fleet activities including vehicle allocation, transportation scheduling, and driver coordination. - Supports fleet availability to meet operational and business requirements. - Monitors vehicle usage and updates fleet movement records. - Coordinates preventive maintenance schedules, servicing, repairs, and inspections with workshops and service providers. - Tracks maintenance status and follows up to minimize vehicle downtime. - Maintains accurate fleet records including maintenance history, registrations, insurance, fuel consumption, and inspection reports. - Assists in monitoring fuel usage and identifying irregularities or inefficiencies. - Coordinates vehicle registration renewals, insurance renewals, and compliance documentation. - Supports vehicle procurement, delivery, transfer, and disposal activities as directed. - Coordinates with vendors and service providers to ensure timely completion of services. - Supports incident and accident reporting processes and maintains related documentation. - Prepares periodic fleet operational reports and updates KPI tracking records. People Management: - Coordinates with drivers, employees, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support smooth fleet operations. - Promotes compliance with fleet safety requirements and company policies - Supports awareness of safe driving and vehicle usage practices. Product/Process Improvement: - Identifies opportunities to improve fleet coordination processes and reporting accuracy. - Supports implementation and utilization of fleet management systems and tracking tools. - Assists in improving documentation control and operational tracking processes. - Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fleet efficiency and service quality. Physical Working Conditions: - Primarily office-based with frequent engagement with fleet operations and service locations. - Requires routine field coordination with workshops, vendors, and transport activities as needed. - May require occasional travel to sites and vendor locations depending on operational requirements. JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Experience & Qualification: - Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. - 3-6 years of experience in fleet coordination, transportation operations or administrative support. Experience in oil & gas, drilling, construction, or heavy equipment operations is preferred. - Familiarity with vehicle maintenance coordination and transport administration is an advantage. Knowledge & Skills: - Good knowledge of fleet coordination and vehicle tracking processes. - Familiarity with fleet documentation and compliance requirements. - Proficiency in MS Office and fleet management software. - Good organizational and coordination skills.
