The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supervising, inspecting, and coordinating all electrical works associated with stormwater, irrigation, roads, and infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, quality standards, and HSE regulations throughout construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases. Supervise and inspect all electrical works related to stormwater, irrigation, pumping stations, street lighting, power distribution, telecom networks, control systems, and associated infrastructure works. Review and provide comments on electrical shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, testing procedures, and as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with project specifications and the requirements of DEWA, Etisalat, du, RTA, Dubai Municipality (DM), and other relevant authorities . Coordinate with contractors, utility agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient execution of electrical works. Monitor installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Participate in authority inspections, utility coordination meetings, and project progress reviews. Assist in the review of NOC drawings, authority submissions, utility diversion proposals, and approval processes. Monitor contractor performance, progress, and resource allocation against approved schedules. Identify and report technical issues and non-conformances and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures and HSE requirements. Support the Resident Engineer in reviewing technical queries, design changes, variations, and contractual matters. Prepare inspection reports, progress updates, and technical recommendations. Coordinate with DEWA, Etisalat, du, RTA, DM, and other stakeholders for service connections, inspections, testing, energization, and final project handover.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 7 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects. Proven experience in stormwater, irrigation, roads, utilities, pumping stations, street lighting, and electrical infrastructure projects . Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, utility coordination, testing and commissioning procedures. Experience working with utility and authority requirements within the UAE/GCC. Familiarity with international electrical standards, specifications, and construction practices. UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
