Senior Engineer - Electrical

Since this is an Electrical role, the summary and responsibilities should be updated accordingly: Senior Engineer - Electrical with strong experience in infrastructure projects, specializing in pump stations, lifting stations, drainage systems, and associated electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage electrical works for pump stations, lifting stations, drainage facilities, and infrastructure projects. Oversee the installation of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, control panels, power distribution systems, lighting, and earthing systems. Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, RFIs, and other technical submissions related to electrical works. Coordinate electrical activities with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and SCADA disciplines. Supervise testing, commissioning, energization, performance testing, and final acceptance of electrical systems. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, designers, and stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues. Ensure all electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, safety standards, and applicable codes. Support project handover and closeout activities, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, testing records, and asset documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical infrastructure projects. Strong experience in pump stations, lifting stations, and drainage infrastructure projects. Experience with switchgear, transformers, MCCs, control panels, power distribution systems, lighting, earthing, and associated electrical systems. Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration. Experience working with infrastructure contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. Good knowledge of QA/QC, HSE requirements, electrical standards, technical documentation, and construction procedures. Familiarity with SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems is preferred. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. UAE/GCC infrastructure experience is preferred.
