We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller / Project Coordinator to support our Marine Division in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating project-related activities, maintaining records, and supporting project teams to ensure efficient execution of marine construction and maintenance projects. Key Responsibilities Manage, control, and maintain all project documents, drawings, correspondence, and records. Ensure proper filing, tracking, distribution, and archiving of project documentation in accordance with company procedures. Maintain document control registers and monitor document revisions and approvals. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding project documentation and administrative matters. Prepare and submit project reports, meeting minutes, progress updates, and presentations as required. Track project deliverables, action items, and deadlines to ensure timely completion. Support project mobilization and resource coordination activities. Assist in preparing technical and commercial submissions, permits, and project correspondence. Monitor incoming and outgoing documents to ensure compliance with project requirements. Maintain project databases and ensure accurate record keeping. Coordinate internal and external meetings and follow up on action items. Assist the Marine Project Team in day-to-day project administration and coordination activities.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in document control and project coordination, preferably within marine, infrastructure, construction, or EPC projects. Strong knowledge of document control procedures and project administration practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience using document management systems (Aconex, EDMS, SharePoint, or similar platforms) is preferred. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment. Experience working on marine construction, dredging, ports, harbours, bridges, or offshore projects will be an advantage.
