Perform, coordinate and lead the execution of analyses and measuring activities in all the sectors equipped with on-stream analyzers in accordance with the directions given by the Supervisor On-Stream Analyzers and bearing in mind the aspects of Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Conservation, Quality, Confidentiality and Security, framed in company regulations and procedures. • Ensure continuous delivery of the OSA’s analytical results with stipulated quality requirements as requested by various sectors. • Inspect, test, adjust, and repair OSA’s electric, electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic components in the field. As required issue notification to concerned to fix it. Ensure availability of calibrations blends and samples. • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical and process drawings, and specifications in making installations or performing repair work. • Make estimates of labor, materials, and supplies as necessary for the performance of specific assignments. • Adapt management of the work load of the sector in coordination with other sectors and setting of priorities. • Assist the OSA Supervisor to allocate and distribute field technicians workload in different sectors according to priority; to communicate and issue precise instructions to his team concerning weekly and daily activities and priorities; and to improve the reliability of OSA’s in the units by coordinating his Section with other sectors in order to analyze all the incidents (including qualities incident), to identify the bad actors and to propose and implement the adequate solutions. • Ensure excellent communication/coordination with the different departments and with the others operation sectors for all activities which may affect the operation of Lab and OSA, or for all the activities of Lab and OSA which may affect the others. • Maintain and follow-up on Key Performance Indicators to follow the performance (safety, accuracy, quality, availability, reliability) of the OSA’s. • Follow daily instructions in order to optimize the availability of the OSA in accordance with the daily Refinery priorities, as advised. • As area in charge, In full compliance of PM/CM, training for other staff, and maximum availability of validated analyzers and update accordingly on regular basis. • Ensure quality certification. Check that all Certification requirements are satisfied by the OSA sectors. • Notify the maintenance for the Fixed Gas detectors-FGDs, O2, LEL, CO and HC detectors for OSA shelters and cabinets management. • Ensure that the OSA’s has enough spare parts in W/H all the times. Organize the OSA spares and consumables through SAP • Assist in coaching team members with regard to accuracy and technical issues, in training the field technicians and in developing “Product Champions” ensuring that each OSA to be operated has an acceptable level of expertise and experience. • Ensure compliance with all SATORP environmental health and safety regulations. Investigate incidents/accidents. Encourage and control risk analysis of any unusual operational or maintenance activities at the laboratory. Attend periodically group safety meetings. • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor On-Stream Analyzers. • Carry 0n tests studies in case of conflict of interests or deviations between Lab and OSA. • Familiar and experienced with calibration methodologies of OSA
