CSU - Laboratory Specialist

Job Purpose: Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of preparing all necessary laboratory equipment, Manuals and Operating Procedures, and ensuring the laboratory is available and fully operational for plant Start-up: personnel, equipment and adequate supply of chemicals and consumables. Reports directly to the Commissioning & Start-up Methods Lead. The Laboratory Specialist shall develop and implement the permanent Laboratory Information Management System. Follow-up on missing and downgraded equipment with Contractor and / or Vendor commissioning procedures, test plans, and system handover documentat • ionActively participate in the laboratory pre-commissioning and commissioning. Master’s Degree in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering; 15+ years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a full understanding of laboratory activities and procedures, expertise in laboratory discipline; Experience in projects with large onshore plants and LNG plants is a plus; 5+ years in an LNG plant laboratory in a supervisory role in a multi-cultural environment; Technical Competencies: Production operations, Laboratory activities, Process operations, Regulations, Certifications, Commissioning and start-up of O&G facilities, Safety of personnel and installations, Maintenance / Inspection, SIMOPS, Operational contract management, Construction, installation
