Road Engineer

WSP is seeking a Road Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team, supporting the design and delivery of major transportation and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, geometric design, coordination, and technical delivery of roads and highway projects while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. 5-10 years of experience in road and highway design projects. Proven experience delivering transportation, roads, and infrastructure projects within engineering consultancy environments. Strong knowledge of geometric road design principles and highway engineering standards. Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and related road design software. Experience with AASHTO, DMRB, Abu Dhabi, and UAE road design standards. Strong understanding of multidisciplinary infrastructure project coordination. Experience preparing technical reports, design calculations, and construction documentation. Excellent communication, technical writing, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working on major transportation and infrastructure projects in the UAE or GCC is preferred. Membership of a recognized professional engineering institution is advantageous.
