Application Engineer (Mechanical Engineering, Composites)

The Application Engineer provides technical bid support to Sales and Proposals. The role ensures that FGS products are applied within design and performance specifications, aligned with engineering principles, applicable codes, and operational feasibility. The position is responsible for technical governance, resource planning, efficiency improvements, and resolving complex technical and commercial challenges while ensuring compliance with NOV ethics and quality standards. Also provides training and guidance to FGS Team as needed.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.  Engineering experience on international projects.  Strong knowledge of Composites (fiberglass piping systems) and related standards highly desirable. Strong mechanical engineering working knowledge Hydraulic analysis and engineering calculations.  5+ years of Engineering experience in handling international projects. Desirable Requirements:  Technical bid/proposal experience.  Quality Control/ Testing in Fiberglass industry.  Piping stress analysis highly desirable  Customer-facing technical support.  Technical training and presentation experience.  Experience working with manufacturing and QC teams.
