The Burn Unit Nurse is responsible for delivering specialized and compassionate nursing care to patients with burn injuries. This role includes monitoring patients’ conditions, vital signs, and wound‑healing progress while ensuring all care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and established standards. Key responsibilities include administering prescribed medications and treatments, performing wound care and dressing changes, and maintaining strict infection‑control practices. The nurse collaborates closely with the multidisciplinary medical team to implement patient‑centered care plans and ensure optimal recovery outcomes. The Burn Unit Nurse also provides emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout treatment and rehabilitation. Accurate documentation and adherence to safety and quality standards are essential components of the role.
Bachelor Degree in Nursing; or Associate degree in Nursing from Canada or USA with minimum two (2) years course duration and Successful completion of the National exam: ✓ USA: NCLEX - RN ✓ Canada: Licensing Exam DOH License or Eligibility Minimum two (2) years clinical experience post qualification
