About the role

Who are we - We’re building an ecosystem of digital products and services that power everyday life across the Middle East—fast, scalable, and deeply customer-centric. Our mission is to deliver to every door every day. We want to redefine what technology can do in this region, and we’re looking for an PM who can help us move even faster. noon’s mission: Every door, every day. About the project: The Partner Catalog team builds the foundational tooling behind the noon.com catalog. That tooling decides what gets listed, by whom, and how well. Our catalog holds over 500 million products across the noon.com marketplace. We help 20,000+ partners build and manage their catalogs, so every decision we make about listings has an outsized effect on customers, sellers and brands. Our roadmap centres on using AI to control and improve the listing experience. That means making it faster and simpler for genuine sellers and brands to list great products, while catching low-quality, duplicate or abusive listings before they reach customers. We’re a small team with a lot of agency, working on problems that are fundamental to noon’s e-commerce business. Responsibilities: • Own problems end to end. Take an ambiguous business or seller problem, break it down from first principles, find the right solution, ship it and measure the impact, with a high degree of independence. • Be AI-native in how you work. Use AI tools every day to prototype, analyse data, draft specs and automate workflows. Where it makes sense, build simple tools and workflows yourself instead of waiting on an engineering queue. • Design AI-powered listing controls. Define how we use AI and automation to gate, validate and improve listings, balancing seller friction against catalog quality and trust. • Define the MVP to test hypotheses quickly, then use what you learn to grow features into lasting product solutions. • Write clear, concise PRDs that keep business, design and engineering aligned, and keep projects on track. • Be hands-on with data. Use SQL and BigQuery, plus basic Python where useful, to find insights, size opportunities and track outcomes. • Partner closely with stakeholders (Engineering, Ops, other PMs and business teams) and drive adoption by influencing without direct authority. • Prioritise ruthlessly based on impact, feasibility and ROI. Experience: • 3-6 years in product management, or in engineering with a proven record of owning features end to end, from problem definition through shipping to measured impact. We are open to hiring at different levels of seniority (pm, senior pm) - we will offer the level depending on the candidate’s experience. • AI literacy (most important): hands-on, daily use of AI tools such as LLMs, AI coding assistants and agentic tools. You’ve built your own workflows, automations or prototypes with them, and we’ll ask you to show us. • Technical ability: basic SQL and basic Python, and comfort with APIs, data models and backend concepts. You can speak the engineers’ language and build small things yourself. • Strong critical thinking: you reason from first principles, challenge assumptions and get to the root of a problem instead of treating symptoms. • Independence: a track record of driving work forward on your own, with minimal oversight. Good to have: • E-commerce experience, especially in catalog, product content or PIM systems. • Experience with marketplace controls, gating, trust and safety, fraud or brand protection. • Experience building internal tools or platforms at large scale. • Familiarity with the seller domain: brands, retailers and merchandising. What we offer: • A small, high-agency team where your work ships and makes a visible difference. • Foundational problems: you’ll shape the core catalog and brand tooling that all of noon.com depends on. • Real ownership and responsibility from day one, for problems at a scale few companies in the region can offer. • A lot of learning, especially in applying AI to real operational problems at massive scale. Who will excel - • We’re looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters. • You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action. • We need people with the courage to be fiercely original. • noon is not for everyone; readiness to adapt, pivot, and learn is essential.
