Mechanical Project Engineer

About Our client, an established UAE electromechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join its team in Abu Dhabi, working on a major mixed-use development on a long-term basis. About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of the project, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and agreed programmes. Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate mechanical MEP works on site. • Oversee installation, testing and commissioning activities. • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and other project disciplines. • Monitor progress, quality and compliance with project specifications. • Resolve technical and site-related issues to ensure timely project delivery. To be considered • MUST have strong record of successfully delivering MEP packages in Abu Dhabi. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant. • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer within MEP contracting. • Strong experience delivering mechanical works on large-scale building or mixed-use developments. • Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and associated mechanical systems. • Excellent coordination, communication and project management skills. • Previous UAE project experience is highly desirable.
