Senior MEP Project Manager – Data Centres Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE The Opportunity We are seeking experienced Senior MEP Project Managers with proven data centre experience to join a major, high-profile data centre expansion programme in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical digital infrastructure, overseeing complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) packages within a fast-paced, technically demanding environment. Working across the procurement and delivery lifecycle, you will take ownership of major MEP workstreams, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and drive the successful delivery of mission-critical systems to the highest standards of quality, safety and performance. Key Responsibilities • Lead the delivery of major MEP packages across a large-scale data centre development. • Manage the full project lifecycle, from procurement, subcontractor appointment and planning through installation, testing, commissioning and handover. • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, fire protection and associated building services systems. • Oversee subcontractors, specialist suppliers, consultants and multidisciplinary site teams. • Manage project programmes, resources, budgets, risks and progress against key milestones. • Drive procurement activities, technical reviews, package coordination and supplier performance. • Ensure all works comply with project specifications, relevant standards, quality requirements and health and safety regulations. • Resolve technical and construction challenges, coordinating interfaces between trades and other project stakeholders. • Oversee testing and commissioning activities, including integrated systems testing where required. • Provide regular progress updates and commercial and programme reporting to senior project leadership. About You To be considered, you will have: • Extensive experience in MEP project management on large-scale construction projects. • Demonstrable experience delivering data centre projects, ideally hyperscale or other mission-critical facilities. • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services, including power distribution, backup power, cooling and associated infrastructure. • Experience managing complex MEP packages from procurement through to installation, commissioning and handover. • A proven track record of managing subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary delivery teams. • Strong programme management, coordination and problem-solving skills. • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with demanding delivery objectives. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • The ability to mobilise quickly and be based on-site in Abu Dhabi. Candidates currently based in the GCC with relevant data centre delivery experience are particularly encouraged to apply. Location and Remuneration • Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE • Position: Senior MEP Project Manager • Remuneration: Indicative monthly rate of approximately AED 60,000, depending on experience and suitability.
