Lead Estimator

Lead Estimator – Joiner, Dubai We are currently working with an established joinery contractor in Dubai who is looking to appoint an experienced Lead Estimator to join their growing team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading the estimation process across a range of joinery projects, ensuring accurate cost assessments, competitive tenders and commercially sound proposals. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the preparation and submission of detailed cost estimates for joinery projects. • Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and BOQs. • Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and detailed material and labour costing. • Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. • Assess project requirements, specifications and potential commercial risks. • Liaise with design, production, procurement and project teams to ensure accurate pricing. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering alternatives. • Prepare tender clarifications, commercial proposals and supporting documentation. • Manage multiple tenders and ensure submissions meet required deadlines. • Support the commercial team during negotiations and project handovers. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Lead Estimator or Senior Estimator within the joinery industry. • Strong experience with a joinery manufacturer or specialist joinery contractor. • Excellent understanding of bespoke joinery, manufacturing processes, materials and finishes. • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and BOQs. • Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers, subcontractors and market pricing. • Experience estimating for luxury residential, hospitality and commercial projects. • Proficiency in relevant estimation software and Microsoft Excel.

Proven experience as a Lead Estimator or Senior Estimator within the joinery industry. Strong experience with a joinery manufacturer or specialist joinery contractor.
