Software Engineer - React Native

Description Mnzil is a fast-growing proptech company in Riyadh providing integrated workforce services (housing, transportation, catering and building operations) across Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Mnzil's mobile app is the main way tenants find, book and manage their workforce housing, which makes this role central to our core product. You will own the end-to-end experience of our React Native app across iOS and Android, turning product and design intent into polished, fast and reliable features. This is a hands-on building role for someone who cares about the quality of what ships. Requirements • 3+ years of hands-on React Native development with apps live on the App Store and/or Google Play • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript, with an understanding of how React Native bridges to native • Experience integrating REST APIs and managing state with Redux, Zustand or React Query • Able to debug complex mobile issues (rendering performance, memory, device-specific behaviour) • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where requirements change • Clear communicator who can explain technical trade-offs to non-engineers • Nice to have: Expo, Firebase, mobile CI/CD (Fastlane/Bitrise), Jest/Detox testing Roles And Responsibilities • Own the development and maintenance of Mnzil's React Native app on iOS and Android • Turn product requirements and designs into high-quality, production-ready features • Find and fix performance bottlenecks, UI inconsistencies and crashes before they reach users • Work closely with product, design and backend engineers to ship features end-to-end • Write clean, well-structured and testable code • Take part in code reviews and help raise engineering standards • Flag technical debt and propose improvements proactively
