Qualifications Candidates should have a diploma or degree in electrical engineering, lighting design, interior design, architecture, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience in lighting, electrical products, building materials, construction, project coordination, or technical sales is an advantage. Familiarity with lighting concepts such as luminaires, color temperature, energy efficiency, controls, and basic photometric information is beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with sound organizational abilities and a customer-focused approach. Candidates should be comfortable using email, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and standard business software. The ability to review technical documents, prepare clear written information, and maintain accurate records is important. A collaborative attitude, initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn are highly valued. Assist with quotations, product schedules, submittals, presentations, and other project documentation, ensuring details are complete and accurate. Coordinate requests between customers, internal departments, suppliers, and project partners. Track inquiries and follow-ups, communicate changes or outstanding information, and help maintain timely responses. Research product specifications and availability, support comparisons between potential solutions, and escalate technical questions when specialist input is required. Maintain organized customer and project records, contribute to team meetings, and share relevant feedback about customer needs and product performance.
