Role Description The Finance Manager (Construction - F&B) is a full-time, on-site role based in Masqaţ, Oman. This role oversees financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for construction and food & beverage projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and project timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring project costs and cash flows, preparing financial reports and variance analyses, and supporting contract and tender evaluations from a financial perspective. The Finance Manager will manage financial controls, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (including banks, auditors, and suppliers), and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The role also involves optimizing funding structures, supporting strategic decision-making with data-driven insights, and improving financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and profitability. Qualifications • Strong financial management capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and cash flow management for construction and F&B projects. • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to interpret project performance, prepare management reports, and support strategic decisions. • Knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., IFRS), taxation, and compliance requirements relevant to real estate, construction, and F&B sectors. • Experience in project finance, contract evaluation, and feasibility studies, including assessment of investment returns and risk factors. • Advanced skills in Excel and financial systems or ERP platforms, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy. • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with project teams, senior management, auditors, and financial institutions. • Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects concurrently, and meet tight deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are an advantage. • Relevant experience as a Finance Manager or senior finance professional in construction, real estate development, or F&B operations preferred. • Strong ethical standards, Show more Show less
