🚨 WE ARE HIRING – DUBAI DESIGN HUB Civil Design Engineer – HV/EHV Substation | Power Transmission & Distribution / EPC 📍 Location: Dubai, UAE 🏢 Department: Engineering – Dubai Design Hub 💼 Employment: Full-Time We are looking for an experienced Civil Design Engineer – HV/EHV Substation to join our Dubai Design Hub, supporting Power Transmission & Distribution projects across the Middle East, Africa and other international markets. ⚠️ This is a DESIGN position, not a site construction role. Mandatory Experience Candidates must have hands-on civil design experience for HV/EHV substations, preferably including 132kV / 220kV / 400kV AIS or GIS substations. Experience should cover several of the following: • Substation general civil layout • Site grading, earthworks and levels • Internal roads and paving • Stormwater and drainage systems • Underground utilities • Transformer foundations • GIS/AIS equipment foundations • Control / switchgear building civil works • Equipment and structural foundations • Cable trenches and duct banks • Boundary walls and associated infrastructure Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering • Relevant experience in Substation / Power T&D / EPC civil design • Strong AutoCAD capability • Civil 3D / Revit / BIM experience is an advantage • Ability to prepare and review civil drawings, calculations and engineering deliverables • Experience working with multidisciplinary electrical and structural design teams • GCC / Middle East project experience is preferred • Candidates currently based in the UAE will be given priority ❗ Important: General building, infrastructure or site construction experience alone is not sufficient. Responsibilities include civil design for HV/EHV substations (132kV / 220kV / 400kV AIS or GIS), including substation general civil layout, site grading and earthworks, internal roads and paving, stormwater and drainage, underground utilities, transformer and equipment foundations (GIS/AIS), control/switchgear building civil works, cable trenches and duct banks, boundary walls and associated infrastructure, and collaboration with multidisciplinary electrical and structural design teams.
