Job Title: Site Engineer cum Executive Planner Location: Dubai Salary: Based on experience Job Code: 366/001/550 Industry: Power Solutions / Electrical Engineering Job Brief: Our client is seeking a Site Engineer cum Executive Planner responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, testing, and commissioning projects involving UPS, Battery Chargers, VFDs, Batteries, and related products. The Site Engineer cum Executive Planner will ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining the required standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role involves hands-on site execution along with project planning, scheduling, technical coordination, documentation, testing, commissioning, inspections, and final project handover. Job Responsibilities: • Execute installation, testing, and commissioning activities on site. • Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, SLDs, specifications, and safety requirements. • Prepare project plans and weekly/monthly schedules, and monitor project progress. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, procurement, and internal teams. • Review technical drawings, cable schedules, layouts, and related documents. • Track material delivery and verify materials against BOQ and specifications. • Maintain DPR, MIR, IR, ITP, commissioning reports, and as-built documentation. • Coordinate FAT/SAT, inspections, punch-point closure, and project handover. • Escalate technical, quality, or schedule-related issues when required. • Continuously develop knowledge of UPS, VFD, and battery technologies. Job Requirements: • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering. • Relevant experience in project execution, planning, testing, and commissioning. • Good technical skills related to electrical project execution. • Good coordination and communication skills. • Good project reporting skills. • Ability to support the planning, execution, testing, and commissioning of projects involving UPS, Battery Chargers, VFDs, Batteries, and related products. • Ability to review technical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, layouts, BOQs, and specifications. • Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, procurement, and internal teams.
