Project Manager – Quantity Surveying Experience Location: dubai Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Construction About the Role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong Quantity Surveying (QS) experience to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from planning and pre-construction through to completion, while maintaining strong control over costs, contracts, programme, quality, and client requirements. This role is ideal for a construction professional who combines strong project management skills with solid commercial and quantity surveying knowledge. Key Responsibilities * Manage construction projects from inception through to successful completion. * Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, resources, and construction schedules. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams. * Monitor project costs, cash flow, variations, valuations, and overall commercial performance. * Review and manage BOQs, estimates, tenders, and subcontractor quotations. * Prepare, review, and negotiate variations, claims, interim payments, and final accounts. * Ensure projects are delivered within agreed time, cost, quality, and safety requirements. * Monitor subcontractor performance, progress, and contractual obligations. * Identify commercial and project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. * Conduct regular site and progress meetings and prepare project reports. * Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of works. * Coordinate with the technical, procurement, planning, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution. * Maintain accurate project documentation and commercial records. * Support tendering and pre-contract activities when required. * Ensure compliance with company procedures, project specifications, and applicable HSE requirements. * Manage project close-out, snagging, handover, and final account settlement. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably with significant QS/commercial experience. * Strong understanding of construction contracts, BOQs, variations, claims, valuations, and cost control. * Proven experience managing construction projects from start to completion. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project coordination. * Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents. * Strong negotiation, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. * Good knowledge of project scheduling and cost management. * Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, Excel, AutoCAD, or relevant construction/project management software is an advantage. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
