Quantity Surveyor – Civil

Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Open (Based on Experience) Joining: Immediate Joiners Only Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor – Civil to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing valuations, administering contracts, and ensuring effective commercial control throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil works. * Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents. * Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets. * Prepare and verify interim valuations, payment certificates, and subcontractor bills. * Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders. * Conduct site measurements and maintain accurate quantity records. * Support procurement activities, tender evaluations, and subcontract administration. * Prepare periodic cost reports and cash flow forecasts. * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and subcontractors on commercial matters. * Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. * Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects. * Strong knowledge of cost estimation, quantity surveying, billing, and contract administration. * Experience with variations, claims, and project cost control. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and quantity surveying software. * Knowledge of FIDIC contracts is an advantage. * Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. * Must be currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately.
