Responsibilities • Plan and recommend business development and marketing strategies to achieve maximum customer and market penetration consistent with Food Point’s financial objectives and to drive tactical and strategic growth. • Seek out and source new revenue opportunities in local, regional and export markets by developing networks and independently identifying and developing relevant resources for meeting sales and business development objectives. • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; • Develop innovative sales plans, prepare sales forecasts and budgets and implement multi-year business development strategy. • Manage the day-to-day sales activities of account management and customer care team to achieve Food Point’s sales targets through profitable business relationships • Responsible for ensuring compliance with the company Occupational Health and Safety system and protect organization's value by keeping information confidential. • Manage the Business Development team with highest level of performance management with a goal oriented approach to achieve assigned targets by maintain and developing current customer base and growing the channel through recruitment of relevant operators. • Provide ongoing support to clients by communicating and conducting visits to ensure all issues are actioned and business relationships are maintained • Develop negotiating strategies and negotiate terms of sales / agreements with existing and new clients that will maximise the organisation’s business interests and service excellence. Evaluate success rates and business development. Qualifications Education Qualification: Bachelors in Business or Marketing with 7 years of relevant experience. Prior Experience in FMCG industry preferred. Work Experience: 7+ years of relevant experience in FMCG foodservice industry. Skills • A strong track record of commercial experience with evidence of developed skills including category management, price negotiation and retailer brand management • Proficient with numbers and financial analysis and proven ability to meet budget targets • Proven ability to develop rapport with multi-national clients • Strong experience in costing, customer influence, and management with a proven record in delivering creative food solutions. • Must have exposure to senior executives and a demonstrated ability to address complaints. • Actively demonstrate the following behaviours; consultative, collaborative, analytical, pro-active, change orientated and structured with the ability to be flexible as required. • High standards of professional conduct with excellent communication and presentation skills. • Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects and client engagements active at once. • Independent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills. • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertainty. • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite. • Multilingual • Local market experience and knowledge in foodservice with a good network of operators and contacts in the HORECA and distribution channel to help grow the number of dealing customers .
