Senior Legal Counsel - Project Finance

An international organisation is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Dubai-based legal team. The role will provide legal support across a broad portfolio of infrastructure and environmental projects. Key Responsibilities • Provide legal support on the development and structuring of major infrastructure and utilities projects, including across water, energy and waste • Advise on project finance and financing transactions, including new investments and refinancings • Draft, review and negotiate a range of project, commercial and corporate agreements • Work closely with Business Development, Proposals, Finance and other senior stakeholders across the business Candidate Profile • Common law qualified, 7+ years’ PQE with strong project finance experience • Experience advising on complex infrastructure, energy, utilities or similar projects • Ideally, experience gained on the sponsor/developer side, although strong private practice candidates with significant sponsor-side experience will also be considered • Commercially minded, pragmatic and comfortable working with senior stakeholders • GCC / Middle East experience would be advantageous All applications are treated in the strictest of confidence. Common law qualified, 7+ years’ PQE with strong project finance experience. Experience advising on complex infrastructure, energy, utilities or similar projects.
