Our client is a property development and investment conglomerate seeking an In-House Corporate Lawyer to independently manage M&A, private equity, and corporate finance transactions while reporting to the General Counsel. The Role The role involves conducting legal due diligence, assessing structural risks, and executing corporate finance transactions and real estate development projects. Core responsibilities include drafting and negotiating deal agreements, securing favourable investor terms, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing legal documentation processes. Additionally, the candidate will assist legal leadership with strategic planning, contract lifecycle management, and senior leadership reporting. The position collaborates internally with Corporate Finance, Development, and Finance teams. External stakeholders include regulatory authorities, master developers, financial institutions, investors, and joint venture partners. The Candidate Candidates must hold a Law degree (LLB, with LLM or attorney/solicitor qualification preferred) and approximately 8 years of corporate law and M&A experience. Must have training from an international law firm while applicants having exposure to Private Equity and Cross Border would be advantageous. Exceptional drafting, and negotiation skills are required, alongside technical expertise in company structuring, SPAs, joint ventures, and complex commercial contracts.
