Site Engineer - Fit Out

About the job We are a leading luxury fit-out contractor delivering high-quality retail, commercial, and residential projects. We are now seeking an experienced Site Engineers who can lead high-end fit-out projects from mobilisation through to handover, ensuring excellence at every stage. Key Responsibilities • Manage day-to-day site operations for projects, ensuring work is executed to the highest quality standard • Coordinate and supervise all site activities including subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site labour • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements. • Plan site programs, monitor progress, and track milestones to ensure timely delivery. • Ensure strict compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies. • Maintain excellent communication with project managers, designers, clients, and consultants. • Conduct quality inspections, snagging, and oversee finishing works to luxury standards. • Identify risks, resolve site issues promptly, and implement effective solutions. • Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and resource allocation. • Lead site meetings, prepare daily/weekly reports, and ensure documentation accuracy. • Ensure final handover is presented defect-free and aligned with the client’s expectations. Skills & Requirements • Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in high-end or luxury fit-out projects ( retail, Commercial, hospitality). • Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills. • Proven track record of managing finishing, joinery, and MEP coordination in high-end interiors. • Ability to interpret architectural and ID drawings with excellent attention to detail. • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site safety, and quality control. • Ability to handle pressure, fast-paced schedules, and demanding clients.
