General Description We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial and contract management skills to support our projects in the Oil and Gas sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cost control, contract administration, and variation management, ideally with experience in UAE projects. This role requires excellent coordination with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and contract compliance. Key Responsibilities • Preparation and submission of payment applications, invoices, and supporting documentation • Follow-up of payment certificates and resolution of certification issues • Contract review, negotiation, and administration • Identification, preparation, negotiation, and management of variations and claims • Project cost control, forecasting, revenue reporting, and final account preparation • Subcontractor procurement, work order administration, payment certification, and cost monitoring • Strong coordination with project teams, clients, and internal stakeholders Qualification Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred. • Alternatively, candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering and strong quantity surveying and commercial experience in oil and gas, industrial services, or specialist contracting will also be considered. • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience, with at least three years ideally in the UAE market. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP or MCS systems is advantageous Additional Preferences Candidates with prior experience in oil and gas, industrial services, environmental services, or specialist subcontracting will be preferred. Commercial awareness, proactivity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently are essential.
