Majid Developments
About us Majid Developments is a growing, close-knit company. As we scale, we're building out our people function for the first time, and we're looking for a hands-on HR professional who can own the full employee lifecycle end to end. This is a broad, high-ownership role—ideal for someone who likes wearing many hats and setting up systems from the ground up rather than slotting into an existing machine. What you'll do • Payroll & compensation: Run monthly payroll accurately and on time, manage salary records, process leave and end-of-service calculations, and keep compensation data organized and confidential. • Attendance & performance: Track attendance and working hours, set up clear performance expectations, and monitor productivity so managers have a reliable picture of how the team is performing. • Performance management: Partner with leadership to identify underperformance early, run fair and documented performance-improvement processes, and manage disciplinary and termination procedures in line with UAE labor law when needed. • Recruitment & onboarding: Source, screen, and hire to fill gaps and replace departures, then run smooth onboarding so new joiners are productive quickly. • HR administration & compliance: Maintain employee records and contracts, manage visas and documentation, and ensure the company stays compliant with local labor regulations. • Employee relations: Be the first point of contact for staff questions and concerns, and help build a fair, motivated, accountable workplace. What we're looking for • 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a small or fast-growing company where you handled a wide range of responsibilities. • Solid working knowledge of UAE labor law, payroll, and visa/documentation processes (adjust if you're outside the UAE). • Comfort managing sensitive situations — underperformance, misconduct, and terminations — professionally, fairly, and by the book. • Strong organization and discretion; you handle confidential salary and personnel information with care. • A proactive, self-starting attitude — you can build processes where none exist. • Proficiency with spreadsheets and HR/payroll software. Nice to have • CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent HR certification. • Experience in real estate, construction, or property development. What we offer • A key role with real ownership and direct access to leadership. • The chance to build our HR function from the ground up. How to apply Send your CV to [email protected] with the subject line "HR Manager Application." We review applications on a rolling basis and will contact shortlisted candidates directly.
