Role Description This full-time Site Engineer role is based on-site in Dubai and focuses on overseeing construction and fit-out projects from execution through completion. The Site Engineer will coordinate daily site activities, supervise civil and structural works, and ensure adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. Responsibilities include monitoring progress against project timelines, resolving technical issues, and liaising with project managers, contractors, and clients to maintain clear communication. The role also involves conducting inspections, preparing site reports, and supporting continuous improvement in construction methods and resource utilization. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong on-site project supervision skills, with experience managing day-to-day construction activities and coordinating multiple stakeholders. • Candidates should possess effective communication skills to interact with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients, and to prepare clear technical documentation. • Candidates should possess solid quality control and inspection skills, ensuring compliance with design standards, safety requirements, and company procedures. • Candidates should possess structural engineering and civil engineering knowledge relevant to interior fit-outs, retail displays, and exhibition booth construction. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred, along with proven experience as a Site Engineer in construction or interior fit-out projects. • Familiarity with construction drawings, local building codes, and safety regulations, as well as proficiency in basic project management and site reporting tools. • Ability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and adapt to fast-paced project environments; prior experience in Dubai or the GCC region is an advantage.
